Markit has announced it is adding the United States of America to its Flash Purchasing Managers’ Index™ (PMI™) family, a series of advance estimates of final PMI data.

The Markit Flash U.S. Manufacturing PMI™ will be the earliest available indicator of business conditions across the U.S. manufacturing sector each month. It will also complement Markit’s Flash China and Flash Eurozone PMIs to make the Flash series the first snapshot of global manufacturing operating conditions every month.

These series have been added to Macrobond’s Markit PMI add-on database.
