The CB Richard Ellis Monthly Index is a leading barometer and market benchmark for UK commercial property performance. It is compiled and calculated on a monthly basis from over £12bn worth of standing investment commercial property valuations. The index covers over a decade of property performance, tracking average commercial property through three market cycles.

Prime Rent and Yield Monitor

The CB Richard Ellis Prime Rent and Yield Monitor data contains a Prime Rent Index and Average Prime Yield series. These data series are gathered on a quarterly basis from CBRE’s vast network of investment and letting agents across the UK, taking account of prime rents and yields from around 500 locations. This method effectively appraises current market conditions across the three major commercial property sectors. Hence, the Prime Rent and Yield Monitor provides a current view of the market and is best used for indicating market pressures.
